Meta One Launches: Paid AI Features for Social Media

Meta has introduced Meta One, a new subscription service offering expanded access to its AI tools and premium features across Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. The service includes AI capabilities for generating images and videos, as well as editing tools like the AI-powered Restyle feature on Instagram. Meta One bundles are now available globally, with some previously in testing earlier this year.
The subscription plans range from $7.99 to $499 per month. For individual users, Core ($7.99/month) and Premium ($19.99/month) plans offer expanded AI usage, including Muse Image and Muse Video generation. Business and creator tiers include Essential (starting at $14.99/month), Advanced (starting at $49.99/month), Expert (starting at $149/month), and Max (starting at $499/month), providing various tools from presence management to advanced analytics and Meta Business Agent capacity.
These new offerings follow Meta's prior launch of subscription tiers for its social apps in March, which included Instagram Plus ($3.99/mo), Facebook Plus ($3.99/mo), and WhatsApp Plus ($2.99/mo). The company aims to monetize its AI models and further expand its subscription push with these new AI-focused plans, which can include features like enhanced profiles and scheduling stories up to 30 days in advance.
