The round was led by Robot Ventures, with additional participation from investors including Nvidia, Union Square Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Samsung, and 1789 Capital.
The capital infusion will support Nous Research's expansion into the enterprise sector with "Hermes for Businesses." This new offering aims to enable companies to deploy customized AI agents for multi-step workflows, prioritizing data privacy and security. The open-source Hermes Agent has seen significant adoption, with over 24 million clones and an estimated 2.5% of global AI token usage.
Nous Research reported approximately $36 million in annualized revenue by mid-September 2026 and anticipates exceeding $100 million before the close of 2026. This strategic funding and product launch position Nous Research to further penetrate the business market with its AI agent technology.
