Meta's capital expenditure estimates for this year are between $135 billion and $145 billion, an increase from a previous estimate.
This increased spending comes as Meta touts progress in its AI efforts, including the launch of its AI agent, Muse, in September. Muse, which reached 10 million downloads in the US, is designed for tasks like email management and trip planning. The company also rolled out its Muse Wonder model this week.
